Just look at that smile!
Sleepy Jean’s smile is back, and it is the best news of the day. A gray pit bull girl, in the sunshine, in a red bandana, tongue out, facing the camera like she has decided the camera is just fine.
She is more relaxed than she was. She is walking a little better than she was. She is doing great, her foster says — and she looks it.
She does not need to run. She needs to rest, and be loved, and keep getting a little better — with you.
The home Sleepy Jean needs
She has arthritis and very clear issues in her back legs, and whoever adopts her needs to love her with that — practically, patiently, with a home that does not ask her to be a dog she is not. That is just part of who she is, and she is so much more than that.
