Sawyer

Sawyer

The sweetest boy, keeping up and loving every minute!

Sawyer is pure heart. He was the one with the injured rear leg, and yes, you can still see a little lameness when he walks — but it does not slow him down, and it certainly does not dim his happiness. He keeps up, he keeps going, he keeps wagging, and he is so, so happy to be with his people.

He is gentle, shy at first, treat motivated, and a total cuddle bug — just like his brothers.

Picture him coming toward you across the yard, a little uneven, completely unbothered, tail going a mile a minute — because you are the person he was walking toward.

The home Sawyer needs

Sawyer will bark for a few minutes when left, because he does not like being completely alone. He is learning that quick movements and loud sounds are not things to run from forever. His adopter should keep an eye on that leg, give him a soft place to land, and let him be the joyful puppy he already is. He does not need pity.
